he intended for you and me

instead, it ended

in the hands of the military.

dividing nations

continents torn.

 

The formula was given

to see us through

not just to protect

the red, white and blue.

 

Why couldn't man

take this valuable gift he gave,

and use it for good,

not make it a grave.
