"Upside down"
And my world was most certainly "upside down".
This was drawn on my 2nd stay in the Texas Dept. of Corrections. (T.D.C).
I was sentenced to 10 years and served 3 1/2 years of that 10 when I was released for good behavior. Believe me, it was a long and lonely road and I had enough ... my life was as chaotic and disordered as it could get.
At that time I was going with a gal (name not important) for over three
years Into the last year I missed her much and that led to this drawing. My ability to draw had increased to be able to put some thoughts into art form. (Such as it is)
The message I tried to convey was how upside down and unmanageable my world had become and behind bars and I was missing her.
We were never really in love but did cling together in our addictions as we both spiraled on a downward path of mental and physical mayhem.
Theme: How my world was upside down missing that gal while I was confined behind bars.
