Shadow Land

 

Take a walk among the shadows

and feel your life just fade away.

 

Where your fears become you're god

and you bow to them and pray.

 

You beg for peace and mercy

but they only want to play.

 

They enter your mind and distort your thoughts

till they finally get their way.

 

Then they steal what's left of your shattered soul

and you feel as if you'll die.

 

Then you realize you're alone

in the land of shadows,

and no one, no one,

will hear you cry.
