The Angry Man

“The angry man”

In a world of chaos and strife

this angry man shakes his fist in life.

​

Eyes full of fire and his heart full of rage

he battles the demons at every stage.

​

He screams at the heavens, he curses the sky,

as the rest of the world passes him on by.

​

Deep down inside he knows it's all in vain

for his anger, his demons, only bring on more pain.

​

His bounty is plenty he just did not see

that life is as it is, that's how it's to be.

​

He takes a deep breath

and he lets it all go

releasing the anger

that once made him so.

Once that's done

he will be able to harvest

the fruits of his labor

as the good Lord has promised.
