Man In His Music

Just how this one ended up like it did was:
At first i started to draw a musical instrument for an Inmates’ son. I had no idea of how the strings and such were put together or any way of looking at a picture that would serve as a guide.
His son played the guitar in the school’s band and I was trying to at least get the instrument right ... That was a Non-starter.
The attempt to get it right was just more than I could draw. I made a huge mess out
made a huge mess out of 4 or 5 attempts. About that time there was a magazine that started making the rounds. It took a good week to get to me after other
Inmates shared it.
In the magazine was an article on the founding fathers of our great nation. It leads to what you are looking at. To Cover my futile attempt at getting the instrument right as best i could was to turn the instrument around so that I would not have a problem with the bridge and strings. I was trying to get a polished look and the idea of Inserting the face as a mirrored reflection ended up with what you now see.
All of this drawing was no more than covering my tracks on what I could not draw. Making it electric for sounds I drew the edges to try to create the image of sound. NotThe best idea but this was how it finally ended up.
